The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued a patent to Pearl for its chairside artificial intelligence (AI) disease detection software Second Opinion.
It is U.S. Patent No. 11,676,701 and is entitled “Systems and Methods for Automated Medical Image Analysis." The patent grants Pearl exclusive rights to the computer system technology supporting the application programming interface of Second Opinion and covers the machine-learning models used to generate and train image data depicting dental radiographs.
