Back by popular demand, DrBicuspid.com has once again compiled a list of the 10 largest dental service/support organizations (DSOs) in the U.S. More practices are now affiliated with one of the largest DSOs since the original list was published in May. However, the companies that made the list did not change.
With 800 affiliated/supported practices and offices, Heartland Dental remains the largest DSO in the U.S. It previously was No. 1, with more than 750 affiliates.
Western Dental also moved up one spot on the list to No. 8, overtaking Affordable Dentures & Implants. Western Dental grew from more than 220 affiliated/supported practices and offices to more than 245.
The list is based on DrBicuspid.com research of readily available public information. The information presented is not meant to be definitive but rather to provide a snapshot of available data on the largest DSOs. In each instance, the information has been sourced through an organization's website, press releases, previously published material, and other sources.
