Carestream Dental has launched its software as a service Sensei Cloud with new features, including soft-tissue charting.
Sensei's soft-tissue chart allows clinicians to maintain detailed records of patient findings with notes and condition labels on an anatomical chart. In addition, customizable questionnaires allow staff to record medical histories in patient charts as a questionnaire, avoiding the need for repetitive data entry.
Finally, the software's lightbar feature aims to aid with patient flow and time management. Its seated queue flyout bar shows when a patient was seated, the time and chair of a scheduled appointment, provider names for the appointment, and appointment type. Also, the "call the doctor" feature informs clinicians when an operatory is ready, according to Carestream.
