A pediatric dentist in Georgia has been arrested after authorities found videos containing child pornography at his home, according to a press release dated January 8 from FBI Atlanta.

Dr. Paul Kim, who worked at practices in Cumming, Austell, and Dunwoody, was charged with possession of child pornography after the FBI executed search warrants at his home. Kim was placed on house arrest after he posted a $100,000 bond. At home, he has no access to the internet or children, according to the release.

The FBI notified the licensing board about Kim’s arrest and will continue to investigate.

Kim allegedly connected to an IP address that had bought child pornography from a known child exploitation ring. He reportedly paid $250 in cryptocurrency to the ring. He purportedly admitted to creating an account to buy a video of a girl he believed was 17 or 18, according to a story published on WSB Radio.

The FBI search revealed more devices at his home. One reportedly had a file called “minor victim” that contained a nearly 20-minute video of a young girl being forced to perform sexual acts on Snapchat. In the video, the victim identified herself as being 14, according to the story.
