Juanetta Solomon, 41, of ISmilez Cosmetic Designz in Katy, TX, has been charged with practicing dentistry without a license. While performing illegal dentistry, Solomon was out on bond for being a felon in possession of a weapon. In 2016, she was convicted of delivery of a controlled substance back, and in July 2023, Solomon was accused of shooting at her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend, according to news stories.

The investigation into Solomon, who claimed to be a licensed dentist on TikTok, began after she reportedly gave a patient veneers that left her bleeding and in pain. The patient learned of Solomon's services after seeing a video posted by Tha_Toothly_Houston and made an appointment with Solomon. The Texas Board of Dental Examiners confirmed that Solomon does not hold a dental license, according to reports.

At the appointment, Solomon allegedly didn't take a mold of the patient's teeth. Furthermore, Solomon reportedly used lots of pressure and chemicals, which were so strong they were dizzying, to apply a composite veneer and bridge to the patient. Solomon purportedly used drills and files to shape the material to the patient's teeth. The patient claimed that she was left with bulky teeth and bleeding gums.

The patient contacted authorities after she paid Solomon $2,000 for the dental work. Solomon allegedly didn't show up for a follow-up appointment when the patient complained of bleeding and pain, according to news reports.
