A former dental assistant in Oklahoma arrested for reportedly sexually assaulting an unconscious man while he was lying in a dental chair awaiting treatment is facing charges stemming from 15 other alleged victims, according to news reports published on November 22.
Further investigation into Cody Allen Stolfa, 36, of Stillwater, OK, who was charged in August with forcible oral sodomy, revealed 15 more alleged victims. Now, Stolfa is charged with 10 counts of sexual battery, five counts of forcible sodomy, six counts of child exploitation, four counts of clandestine recording, two counts of sodomy of a victim under 16, and one count of lewd acts to a child.
Stolfa continues to be held in jail on $50,000 bail.
Since his initial arrest, police reportedly obtained several videos and photographs revealing multiple sexual offenses that occurred while he worked as a dental assistant at Central Oklahoma Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates between June and September 2021.
Stolfa was first arrested after the FBI received a video reportedly showing Stolfa assaulting an unconscious male patient who was undergoing wisdom tooth surgery. When authorities went to the practice during its investigation, they learned he was terminated from that position in 2021. However, the time stamp on the video, which was allegedly recorded by Stolfa, is March 2022.
A criminal complaint is merely an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
