Wis. school gets $3.5M to cut dental no-shows

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Center for Health Enhancement Systems Studies (CHESS) has received $3.5 million for a project to reduce missed dental appointments.

Using systems engineering and evidence-based strategies, this five-year project aims to lower no-show rates among vulnerable populations and reduce dental health disparities.

The project is being funded by the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research.
