The ADA has announced that the ADA Practice Transitions (ADAPT) program is expanding to serve dentists in all 50 states in the U.S.
Starting October 5, general dentists who wish to transition in or out of practice anywhere in the country can create an ADAPT profile to begin the process of finding the right dentist or practice.
According to the ADA, ADAPT was developed after field research uncovered a need in the marketplace for dentists who want to connect for employment opportunities, as well as to facilitate the transition of a practice from one owner to another. ADAPT can help dentists buy or sell a practice, hire an associate, or find an associateship.
"Dentists all over the country have expressed interest in what ADA Practice Transitions is doing, and so we are happy to be able to expand nationally," said Kirk Norbo, DDS, ADA Business Innovation Group board chair. "Whether you are looking to own a practice or retire, ADAPT provides the tools and support to help dentists achieve their goals, and we're thrilled to extend these services to dentists across the country."
Starting September 9, dentists can answer three questions to become an ADAPT Insider and receive early access to the platform, before the October 5 national opening.
Additionally, ADAPT is hosting a free webinar titled "Find Career Success With ADA Practice Transitions" on September 21. Registration is currently available.
