Dental student honored with President's Volunteer Service Award

A dental student at the University of Missouri-Kansas City was honored with the President's Volunteer Service Award by President George Bush last month, according to a news story by the Kansas City Star.

President Bush presented the award in person to Ashley Knight. Knight was recognized for her community service work, which has included gathering volunteers who provided dental services at the Kansas City Free Health Clinic.
