Calif. dentist pleads no contest in fondling case

A San Jose, CA, dentist has pleaded no contest to six counts of sexual battery for groping patients, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

Benva Lazar, D.M.D., was arrested last October after he was accused of touching the breasts of a 23-year-old patient under the guise that he was screening for cancer, the paper reported.

He will be sentenced July 17 on charges involving six victims, according to the Chronicle.
