ConFirm Monitoring Systems has introduced Soft-X ultrasoft foam loops for use during bitewing x-rays.
The loops' soft edges and corners cushion tissue to eliminate the pain of bitewing x-rays, particularly for patients with smaller arches or bony outgrowths, according to the company. The loops fit size 0 and size 2 dental x-ray film.
The product will be officially available June 1.
