NJ dentists lose licenses due to criminal activities

The New Jersey State Board of Dentistry has suspended the licenses of two dentists following criminal activities, including Medicaid fraud, according to state Attorney General Anne Milgram in a press release.

Somerdale practitioner Mitra Abdollahi, D.M.D., has agreed to a two-year year license suspension and a three-year probation after she acknowledged submitting false and misleading claims to Medicaid from 2002 to 2007.

Meanwhile, Bayville dentist Raymond Pacholec, D.M.D., who was arrested on March 16 after a marijuana-growing facility was discovered in his home, agreed to a minimum six-month license suspension.
