BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is donating $500,000 to the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, according to a story in the Memphis Business Journal.
The donation is being made to enhance the college’s dental clinic, help retain dental faculty and recruit dental students, the story noted. Part of the grant will replace worn dental chairs and purchase technologically advanced equipment for the clinic, which provides more than 40,000 patients visits annually.
