MediaMed, a provider of dental patient education software and videos, has release version 2.0 of its Dental Patient Education Software.
The MediaMed software was designed by dentists to educate their patients on the most popular dental procedures performed today, the company said in a press release. It is compatible with all Windows operating systems and is designed to be used with touchscreen computers and laptops.
"Simplicity was goal for this new version," said Dr. Nima Pakravan, D.D.S., a practicing dentist and MediaMed CEO.
New to the MediaMed 2.0 Dental Patient Education Software is intraoral camera support, Dr. Pakravan added. This feature enables dentist to show their patients problem areas in their mouth and then follow up with the educational video regarding the required treatment.
