Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry gets news dean

Bradford C. Berk, M.D., Ph.D., will return as full-time CEO of the University of Rochester Medical Center, enabling Mark B. Taubman, M.D., to begin serving as the 10th dean of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.

The former chair of the Department of Medicine, Dr. Taubman has been serving as acting CEO of the medical center since Dr. Berk suffered a serious spinal cord injury on May 30, 2009.
