Lares Research has opened a new facility in the Netherlands to better serve its growing number of European customers.
The facility is located in an industrial office complex in Almelo, about an hour from Amsterdam. It has more than 2,500 sq ft of office, administrative, and warehouse space.
The facility will provide order fulfillment and shipping services to customers located in European Union (EU) countries. Lares plans to ship all orders within the EU from this location by the end of 2010.
The new facility will provide multilanguage customer service capability and the ability to process payments in euros. European customers will also benefit from lower import taxes, reduced shipping charges, same time zone customer service, and faster deliveries, the company said.
