Dentist promoting Hillary Clinton for president

A Chicago dentist ponied up $5,000 to finance a national TV commercial promoting U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for president in 2012, according to a story on CNN.

"She has more experience working in and with the White House than most living presidents," the ad states. "She is one of the most admired women in our nation's history. Let's make sure the president we should have elected in 2008 will be on the ballot in 2012. Hillary 2012: Hillary Clinton for President. Start now. Where there's a Hill, there's a way."

The ad is the brainchild of William DeJean, D.D.S., and began running in New Orleans September 1 and will also air in Washington, DC; New York; Los Angeles; and possibly Houston. Dr. DeJean told CNN he was compelled to develop the ad because he doesn't think the country is headed in the right direction, and that Clinton is the most qualified person to run it.

He also said he thinks people are having buyer's remorse about President Barack Obama and that the current administration is ruining the Democratic Party.

Dr. DeJean also paid to run ads supporting Clinton during the 2008 presidential campaign, according to CNN.

Since becoming secretary of state, Clinton has made it clear that she does not intend to run for president again, CNN noted.
