NM lottery winner uses money on dental work

A recent New Mexico lottery winner used some of the $50,000 prize to get some much needed dental work, according to a story in the Santa Fe New Mexican.

Patrick Montoya, who won the lottery playing the Scratcher game at a Santa Fe store in March, said his initial reaction was sheer disbelief.

"It wasn't life-changing, but it did help out," Montoya said. "I got my teeth fixed with it."
