3M ESPE donated $20,000 worth of products to the National Children's Oral Health Foundation (NCOHF) through the recycling efforts of attendees at the recent 2010 ADA Annual Session in Orlando, FL, and the Greater New York Dental Meeting in New York City.
3M ESPE announced prior to the two shows that it would make a donation of products to NCOHF for every specially marked cup band that was recycled at the booth. After ADA attendees made a strong showing with $10,000 worth of products donated, GNY attendees stepped up to match that total, resulting in a final donation of $20,000.
The special cup bands, printed on postconsumer recycled paper, were handed out by "street teams" dispensing complimentary beverages during the meetings as part of the company's RelyX Unicem 2 automix self-adhesive resin Cement launch.
