Birner Dental reported revenues of $16.2 million for the first quarter of 2012 (end-March 31), a 5% decrease over revenues of $17.1 million for the same quarter in 2011.
Net income for the quarter declined 20%, from $386,000 a year ago to $309,000 in the most recent quarter.
Birner Dental acquires, develops, and manages dental practice networks in Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona. The company currently manages 64 dental offices -- all under the Perfect Teeth name -- with 110 dentists, as well as the Vantage Dental Implant Center in Colorado.
