Stephen Thong, PhD, has been named vice president of global technology and development at Ranir, the parent company of Plackers.
Thong, who holds a doctorate in chemistry from Northwestern University, has 20 years of international product development experience, according to the company.
He comes to Ranir after leadership roles at Church & Dwight Company and Gillette.
Thong's key focus at Ranir will be on building the company's global technology and development team and growing Ranir's technological capabilities.
