Sirona Dental appoints new CEO

Sirona Dental Systems has appointed Jeffrey Slovin as CEO and director Thomas Jetter as nonexecutive chairman.

Jost Fischer has retired as chairman and CEO, according to the company.

Before joining Sirona, Slovin was the former CEO of Schick Technologies. He has served as president and director of Sirona, based in Bensheim, Germany.

Sirona has nearly 3,000 employees worldwide, and its products are used in more than 135 countries.
