Plandent, a dental supply division of Planmeca Group that serves Northern Europe, has expanded into the Russian market with a 51% acquisition of a St. Petersburg-based supply company.
Plandent acquired the majority share of Firm Medexpress, whose current management will continue to serve in its existing roles, the company noted.
In February, Plandent acquired a new distribution company in Belgium. The company also has local companies in all the Nordic and Baltic countries plus the Netherlands, Germany, the U.K., and Austria.
