Software development firm MacPractice has released the latest version of its MacPractice DDS Mac OS dental software, version 5.1.
The new version is compatible with Yosemite and Mavericks operating systems and has enhanced features, including dental-specific enhancements in all clinical charting and imaging functions and also fully integrated, secure, HIPAA-compliant communications services for doctors and their patients.
DDS 5.1 interoperates with MacPractice's Patient Check In, Clipboard, and iEHR apps for iPad. This technology makes it possible for patients to use iPads to enter their own data into their records and for dentists and hygienists to review patient-generated data, visit notes, photos, and x-rays with them.
